Lilly Lloyd

I’m a Clinical Nutritionist (BHSc Nutritional & Dietetic Medicine) and I’m a lover of feeling your best and listening to you body, because it really has all the answers for you, you’ve just got to listen closely.

I believe everyone’s health is completely individualised, not one body is the same as the other, so why should we treat everyone the same in the health world? Holistic healthcare is at my absolute core, I know for myself, when I look after my mind and body I’m able to serve others and myself the best I can. Self-care is just as important as your daily food intake in my eyes.

In addition to being a Clinical Nutritionist, I have a deep passion for creation and design, I’m also an Interior Decorator and have a huge passion for the latest fashion trends. I’ve combined these two passions of mine through content creation, food styling, recipe developing and cooking workshops. I LOVE being in the kitchen, it’s where my mind can be free and lose track of time, I like to tweak traditional recipes or focus my recipes towards hormone or gut loving creations whilst keeping them budget friendly, simple and with minimal ingredients (click the blog - recipe tab to see my recent creations)!    

The power of the mind has always fascinated me, from a young age, I’ve always been switched on with a mind that ran at a million miles an hour - I can say I’ve been in touch with my emotions and how the mind talks to our bodies for quite sometime now, and this is why down time and self-care is something I’m always incorporating into my life. I believe if you give yourself time, your mind and the people around you will love you. What does this look like for me? Cooking, exercising, morning walks with a podcast, going for ocean dips, going on hikes with friends, travelling/checking out interior stores or getting creative.

In regards to my Nutrition interests, I’m deeply passionate about Mood Disorders, Women and Men’s Health, Disordered Eating, Sport Nutrition and Gut Health - I truly think the Gut, Mind and Reproductive systems all work as one. My clinical nutrition approach is always supported by evidence-based health information, alongside my personal experiences and holistic health practices, I love educating individuals about how they can better their health each day just from slight changes.
